The Pak Army, in collaboration with Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South, organized a vibrant festival at Gomal Zam Dam in South Waziristan, with the theme "Colors of Joy with the Spirit of Peace."
The event aimed to entertain the local population while fostering peace and unity in the region.
Thousands of people from South Waziristan, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, and Lakki Marwat flocked to the festival, which featured a variety of traditional sports such as tug-of-war, boat racing, and kabaddi. Cultural food stalls showcasing local delicacies were also a major attraction.
The evening entertainment included performances of Ghazals, traditional music, and the famous Attan dance, which enthralled the audience. Prizes were distributed among participants who excelled in various competitions.
The festival was warmly received by the locals, who appreciated the efforts of the Pak Army and FC in creating an atmosphere of peace and joy in the region.
