The Adiala Jail administration has issued an official statement regarding the recent press conference held by leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Jail officials emphasized that the founder of PTI is being provided with all facilities associated with "B-class" status.
According to the authorities, the PTI founder's diet, study, and exercise needs are being meticulously attended to, with uninterrupted electricity supply in the cell. A dedicated prison cook has been assigned to prepare meals separately for the PTI founder.
The professional cook prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the founder’s preferences. For breakfast, the menu includes coffee, chia seeds, beetroot juice, yogurt, chapati, biscuits, and dates. Lunch consists of curry with fritters, local chicken, yogurt, chapati, salad, green tea, and mutton. Dinner typically includes porridge, coconut, coconut juice, and grapes. All meals are prepared under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent.
Furthermore, a qualified doctor conducts medical examinations for the PTI founder three times a day. Recent medical tests over the past two weeks confirm that the founder is in good health. Additionally, doctors from PIMS Hospital also conducted a check-up two days ago.
The founder receives daily newspapers and engages in two hours of exercise each day. All security arrangements for the PTI founder in the "B-class" category are fully in place. The jail administration firmly stated that there is no truth to the rumors circulating on social media and from political parties regarding the PTI founder's conditions.
