After a minor decline a day ago, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a massive hike on Saturday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000, settling at Rs284,300, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs1,714, taking it to Rs243,741.

In the international market, the price of gold hiked by $22 on Saturday, reaching $2,748 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices, however, remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market, unaffected by the recent changes in gold prices.
