After witnessing a major hike, gold prices in Pakistan came down a bit on Monday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs900, settling at Rs283,400, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold came down by Rs771, taking it to Rs242,970.

In the international market also, the price of gold dropped by $9 on Monday, reaching $2,739 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices, however, remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market, unaffected by the recent changes in gold prices.
