After a slight decrease a day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan saw a major rising trend again on Tuesday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,600, settling at Rs285,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold shot up by Rs1,372, taking it to Rs244,342.

In the international market also, the price of gold hiked by $16 on Tuesday, reaching $2,755 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices, however, remained steady at Rs3,350 per tola in the local market, unaffected by the recent changes in gold prices.
