The grand sports festival organized by Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South in South Waziristan concluded successfully after a month of competitive events across ten different venues.
The tournament, held from October 1 to November 1, witnessed participation from 379 local teams, comprising 136 cricket teams, 97 volleyball teams, and 146 football teams.
Beyond sporting competitions, the event featured additional attractions including tug of war contests, circus performances, cultural shows, and traditional food stalls, creating a comprehensive community gathering.
The festival, aimed at promoting positive activities among the youth and showcasing their creative abilities, was spread across ten different locations in South Waziristan to ensure broad regional participation.
Spectators from remote areas attended the events, while participating teams demonstrated competitive spirit throughout the tournament. The Pakistan Army's initiative received appreciation from local participants and attendees for organizing the sporting event.
