A police officer was shot and killed in a targeted attack in Orangi Town, Karachi. According to police reports, three unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire, hitting the officer eight times before fleeing the scene.
The fallen officer, identified as Imran, was posted at Manghopir Police Station and was assigned to security duty at a congregation site. His body has been shifted to the morgue for further procedures.
Investigators revealed that the attack involved two different 9mm pistols, indicating a planned assault. The gunshots struck Imran’s face, legs, chest, abdomen, and back, resulting in his immediate death.
Police are investigating the incident, while efforts are underway to track down the attackers.
