In an international seminar held in Islamabad, experts labelled the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a “game-changer” for both Pakistan and the wider region.
The event, organised by the Pakistan China Institute, saw a large participation of diplomats, experts, and the general public. The closing session took place at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, where Pakistan's President addressed the attendees.
During the session, experts emphasised Pakistan’s geographical significance as a potential source of regional economic prosperity. They stated that CPEC would bring economic growth and stability not only to Pakistan but to the entire region.
Experts also highlighted the critical role of the Gwadar Port and digital technology in enhancing Pakistan’s global trade capabilities. They pointed out that Pakistan’s strategic location makes it ideally positioned to serve as a bridge between the East and the West.
Furthermore, experts noted that the CPEC initiative is opening numerous new opportunities in investment, transport, trade, and technology, which will significantly contribute to the stability of the national economy.
