The Met Department has forecast widespread rain, strong winds, and snowfall across various parts of the country starting Monday, February 26.
A powerful westerly weather system is set to enter Pakistan on February 24, bringing week-long rain and snowfall in multiple regions.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: The province is expected to experience continuous rainfall throughout the week, with snowfall in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Peshawar, Mardan, and Swat.
- Punjab: Several districts in central and northern Punjab will receive intermittent rain from February 25 to 28. Murree and Galiyat are likely to witness snowfall between February 25 and March 1.
- Islamabad & Potohar Region: The federal capital and surrounding areas will also see intermittent rain throughout the coming week.
- Sindh & Balochistan: Various districts in Sindh and Balochistan will experience rainfall, while mountainous areas in Balochistan may witness snowfall.
