Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Shibli Faraz, has strongly criticized the government for expanding the size of the federal cabinet, calling it a move to reward political loyalists while the public suffers from inflation.
Speaking to the media, Faraz lashed out at the government, stating, “People are struggling to survive due to skyrocketing inflation, while the government is busy distributing positions to those who sold their ideology.” He pointed out that the number of cabinet members has exceeded 50 and questioned the legitimacy of the administration.
"Even if they increase the cabinet size to 100 members, this government will still be fraudulent and a mandate thief," he remarked, accusing the ruling party of appointing individuals without merit.
Faraz’s remarks come amid growing public frustration over rising inflation and economic instability, as critics accuse the government of prioritizing political maneuvering over public welfare.
