The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a slight drop in temperatures in Karachi over the next three days, with mercury expected to fall by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met Office, a shift in wind direction is leading to drier conditions, with temperatures in the metropolis likely to remain between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius during the day.
The PMD reported that Karachi’s current temperature stands at 19°C, with partly cloudy skies and a humidity level of 48%. Winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour, it added.
Meanwhile, the weather in hilly areas is expected to turn colder, with the PMD forecasting chilly conditions in parts of northern Pakistan.

During the past 24 hours, most regions of the country experienced partly cloudy weather, while rain and thunderstorms were reported in isolated areas of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, Islamabad, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
