MNA Sher Afzal Marwat said on Wednesday that Ali Amin Gandapur may be removed as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Nadeem Malik Live", Marwat said: "Ali Amin Gandapur got time after I was removed from the party."
"Ali Amin Gandapur is not in the good books of Bushra Bibi and Aleema Khan. Even I was not in their good books," said Marwat.
Marwat said, "It would have been better for the PTI to attend the National Security Committee."
"It was the decision of the non-elected people within the PTI to not attend the National Security Committee," he said.
He said: "There was no need to approach the political committee."
Marwat stated: "The PTI should go for reconciliation."
"The decision was changed after a trend was run on the social media in line with boycotting the National Security Committee meeting," he said.
Speaking about Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Marwat said: "Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had provided the PTI with an opportunity for face-saving. The PTI should accept the offer of Bilawal Bhutto and sit together."
Marwat said: "Ali Amin Gandapur has played no political role in the PTI protest. Nobody is present in the PTI that can gather people at the time of the protest."
"The PTI leadership will postpone the potential protest," he said.
Marwat said, "Ali Amin Gandapur is not acceptable, the way Usman Buzdar and Mahmood Khan were."
