The Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah welcomed a total of 122,286,712 visitors during the holy month of Ramadan, according to Eng. Ghazi Al-Shahrani, CEO of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
Al-Shahrani stated that 16,558,241 people performed Umrah, while 92,132,169 worshippers visited the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and 30,154,543 worshippers gathered at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Extending his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, Al-Shahrani expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. He also thanked all those who contributed to serving the guests of Allah, praying that their efforts be rewarded.
