An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in connection with a violent protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on October 5 in Lahore.
The warrants were issued on the request of the police, who informed the court that Gandapur and other PTI leaders failed to join the investigation. Warrants were also issued for PTI leaders Hammad Azhar, Saeed Sandhu, and Shehbaz Ahmed.
The ATC's administrative judge, Manzar Ali Gul, issued the warrants in a case registered at the Masti Gate police station.
