Senior lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa told the Islamabad High Court (IHC) that the facilities being offered to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif should be provided to others also, adding that like Nawaz, PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s sentence has also been suspended.
Khosa made these remarks during the hearing of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi’s application seeking security and protection for her husband inside the prison.
Sardar Latif Khosa appeared in court on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
Chief Justice Aamir Farooq remarked that the jail superintendent can be summoned to explain what facilities and measures are being taken.
He further said the court will issue an order on the application and fix the case for hearing again next week.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Latif Khosa asked for the same facilities for Imran Khan that were being provided to former premier Nawaz Sharif.
The Punjab additional advocate general said the PTI chief was being given facilities under the jail manual.
The CJ said the jail superintendent is being summoned to satisfy whether the previous orders in this regard have been implemented or not.
Latif Khosa said Imran Khan’s sentence has also been suspended, yet he was being treated this way.
He said that on the last hearing on October 5, the court had issued notices to the parties concerned, adding that no measures have been taken for the security and safety of Imran Khan in jail.
