Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday convened an emergency meeting to address the claims of food poisoning made by the imprisoned party chairman Imran Khan.
The huddle, scheduled to take place imminently, is aimed at scrutinising the information provided by Khan to his legal team regarding the alleged poisoning.
PTI took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared the video of Mr Khan's lawyers who were informing media persons about meeting with the former premier in Jail.
The former ruling party stated that "Imran Khan had already warned the nation about possible slow poisoning attempts.
"The CJP and CJ IHC must intervene and immediately stop these attempts. His talk with lawyers confirms once again how his life is at threat," added PTI spokesperson.

Imran Khan’s arrest
On August 5, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, was arrested at his Lahore residence following a three-year prison sentence for corruption charges in Toshakhana case.
The Islamabad court, which convicted Khan in absentia, issued an arrest warrant, directing him to serve his sentence in Rawalpindi's central jail in Punjab province. Law enforcement in Lahore promptly apprehended him.
This conviction also carries a five-year ban on Khan holding any political office.
