Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari said on Tuesday that his party believes in serving the masses and will form government with the support of the people.
He said this in a meeting with chieftains and political leaders Abdul Qayyum Arain, Ayub Rajput, Shoaib Arain, Ayub Jutt, Ashiq Zardari, Tariq Masood Arain, Ali Hasan Zardari, and Ali Akbar Jamali, who held separate meetings with him and party chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House in Nawabshah.
The former president listened to the suggestions of Nawab Shah’s elders regarding the upcoming general elections and said that the PPP believes in serving the people. He said the continuous electoral success in Sindh is a manifestation of the people’s trust in the party, and the PPP will form government with the support of the people.
On the other hand, former Balocistan CM Jam Kamal Khan, former Sindh Assembly member Saleem Baloch, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, and social leader Zafar Abbas held separate meetings with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The PPP chairman and former Balochistan CM, Jam Kamal Khan, discussed the country’s political situation.
During the meeting, Nawabzada Amir Khan Magsi was also in attendance, as confirmed by the spokesperson. In another political development, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had a meeting with Saleem Baloch, a former member of the Sindh Assembly representing PS-79, and Riaz Baloch, who serves as the parliamentary leader of Malir Town.
The discussions during this meeting primarily focused on the political landscape and situation in the Malir district. Mr Bhutto provided clear directives to the party leaders present. He urged them to engage in grassroots efforts and take the party’s manifesto to the doorstep of the people as part of their preparations for the upcoming general elections.
Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), during which he discussed the various issues and challenges faced by the residents of Karachi. Additionally, Mayor Wahab outlined the proposed measures and initiatives aimed at resolving these problems and enhancing the overall living conditions in the city.
In a separate meeting, social leader Zafar Abbas led a delegation to meet with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. During this meeting, Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was apprised of the welfare activities undertaken by JDC (presumably an organization or group focused on social welfare and development).
