Pakistan Railways has updated the timings of two key passenger trains, Allama Iqbal Express and Shaheen Passenger.
Pakistan Railways disclosed the revised timetable on Friday.
According to the latest schedule, Allama Iqbal Express will now depart from Karachi Cantt at 3:30 PM instead of the previous time of 2:15 PM.
The train is scheduled to arrive in Sialkot at 6 PM the following day.
Similarly, Shaheen Passenger, which operates between Sialkot and Wazirabad, will now depart an hour later than its earlier schedule.
Previously leaving Sialkot at 6 PM, the train will now reach Wazirabad at 8:05 PM after departing from Sialkot at 7 PM.
It is worth noting that last month, Pakistan Railways introduced its updated winter timetable, effective from October 15.
As part of the changes, a new stop was added for Pakistan Express (45 Up) at Khairpur Railway Station.
Additionally, several temporary stops for trains, including Allama Iqbal Express (9 Up/10 Dn) and Quetta Express, have been made permanent.
These trains will now make stops at Lodhran Railway Station and Toba Tek Singh Railway Station, respectively.
