The Accountability Court of Lahore declared Monis Elahi—the son of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervez Elahi—as a Proclaimed Offender (PO) in the case of receiving kickbacks worth billions of rupees in development projects.
Lahore Accountability Court Judge Naseem Ahmad Work took action on NAB's request and sought the records of Moonis Elahi's properties and started the process of confiscating the properties.
NAB’s petition argued that neither Moonis Elahi was arrested nor did he join the investigation.
NAB requested the court to order to declare Mons Elahi as PO.
