Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday vowed to address the masses’ problems.
Addressing the workers’ convention in Abbottabad, Bhutto-Zardari said, ‘’The PPP has started its visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I would like to express my gratitude to the elders, brothers, and sisters for coming in large numbers.’’
He took a swipe at the political opponents, saying the parties were indulged in old politics. The PPP cannot compete with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Our concern is to address the problems faced by the people in line with poverty, unemployment, and inflation.
Recalling the past contributions made by his party, Bhutto-Zardari said: ‘’Everybody is familiar with the way Asif Ali Zardari delivered between 2008 and 2013. The PPP had introduced the 18th Amendment and the NFC Award. These are the achievements of the PPP that made us proud.’’
He maintained, ‘’We will contest in the next elections and go on to form a government that will serve the masses.’’
‘’We want to fulfil the incomplete mission of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. We will follow his manifesto and address the masses’ problems,’’
He expressed his resolve to provide the farmers, labourers, and poor segments of society with basic human rights.
