The teenage suspect arrested in connection with the death of six members of a family in a vehicle collision in Lahore's Defence area has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) for legal protection.
The petition, filed through Advocate Irfan Hayat Bajwa, names the caretaker chief minister, Lahore CCPO, and others as respondents.
The petitioner contended that the case cannot be prosecuted under murder provisions and that the court should summon all respondents.
He pleaded with the court to order authorities to provide legal protection.
The petitioner further asserted that he should be granted protection from arrest and harassment too.
The court has yet to fix a date for the hearing of the petition.
