Renowned Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa has come out with a scathing criticism of content creators who exploit their families for views and likes.
In a recent interview with Shoaib Akhtar, Fahad Mustafa expressed his disdain for the trend of family-based content. He labelled it as "selling families".
The actor who has been a prominent figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry for over two decades questioned the authenticity of such content.
He pointed out that many creators are willing to go to extreme lengths, even filming in graveyards, to generate clicks.
"Most people are selling their families," Fahad Mustafa asserted. "They will make videos even from graveyards and that is not content."
He further contrasted the work ethic of traditional actors like himself with that of content creators. While actors like Fahad Mustafa dedicate long hours to their craft, many content creators are accustomed to a more relaxed work schedule.
These social stars are not used to work for 10-15 hours, which actors like me do," Fahad Mustafa remarked.
