Sheikh Muqeem, a resident with ties to the Bihari community, is among those who witnessed and endured the horrors inflicted by Mukti Bahini.
Recounting the events, he stated that on March 25, 1971, Bengalis initiated a rebellion, joining forces with Mukti Bahini and the Indian army.
The joint forces launched attacks in East Pakistan, specifically targeting the Bihari population.
The onslaught resulted in widespread attacks on the properties and settlements of Biharis, leading to the mass killing of Biharis.
Sheikh Muqeem revealed that the Indian media falsely portrayed the corpses of Biharis as Bengali rebels, distorting the truth about the innocent lives lost at the hands of Mukti Bahini.
He disclosed that the Indian army and Mukti Bahini ruthlessly martyred over half a million Biharis. The blame for these atrocities was deceitfully placed on the Pakistani army, as part of a conspiracy to malign Pakistan's image.
