Lahore SSP (Investigation) Anoosh Masood addressing a press conference Friday claimed that after interviewing the May 9 riots accused persons, it was found out that it was mutiny and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan have also been named in FIRs.
“Whatever happened on May 9 is in front of everyone. At that time provisions were made accordingly, said Dr Anoosh Masood.
“Various revelations were made during the investigation and the whole matter started from 10th April 2022,” she added.
She claimed that there was no confusion in the investigation and new list of accused was just an extension of geo-fencing.
Defense car accident update
SSP Investigation said Defense car accident was very unfortunate in which six people were killed and subsequently 7-ATA sections were imposed on the basis of fear and loss.
She said everyone should wait for the verdict as matter is subjudice now.
“The dental test of the accused has been done and the report is yet to come,” she informed.
