Travis Kelce inadvertently revealed his nickname for Taylor Swift on Wednesday's episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce's podcast, "New Heights".
He affectionately referred to his girlfriend as "Tay".
The heart-warming moment unfolded after Jason, 36, congratulated his brother, 34, for becoming the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 receiving yards on Sunday.
The Philadelphia Eagles player pointed out that Swift, 33, had shown her support by "liking" the Kansas City Chiefs' Instagram post about the achievement.
Travis expressed his gratitude to Swift, saying, "Thanks, Tay. I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting."
When asked whether Swift had previously been interested in following tight end stats, Travis was evasive.
He responded, "I don't know if she's a tight end fan or not. I'll have to ask her." While Travis refrained from mentioning his Grammy-winning girlfriend elsewhere in the episode, he did share an endearing encounter with a young Swiftie at Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The football player generally keeps a low profile regarding his relationship with the songwriter, having told listeners in September that he intended to focus on sports "moving forward" as "she's not in the media as much."
However, Travis opened up about their connection in a WSJ. Magazine cover story published last week. He exclaimed, "Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f—ing mind-blowing. I'm learning every day."
Addressing their high-profile romance, which became public in September, he stated, "Obviously, I've never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them. I've never dealt with it. But at the same time, I'm not running away from any of it."
Swift has since attended many of the tight end's games. Donna Kelce, Travis' mom, similarly confessed to "Good Morning America" viewers that her youngest child is "embracing" the fame, as "he likes attention."
Earlier this month, Travis travelled to Argentina to watch one of Swift's Eras Tour shows. He was filmed dancing with Taylor's dad, Scott Swift, and kissing the performer.
With Swift now on hiatus from her tour until February of next year, she is reportedly spending "weeks at a time" with her boyfriend. She flew to Kansas City, Mo., on Monday.
