Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and a former foreign minister, highlighted how crucial it is to have elections, even if they are delayed and his party would never run away from polls.
He thanked his followers for their steadfast support while speaking to them at Multan’s Chowk Syedanwala bypass.
Bilawal recounted how the PPP, with the help of devoted followers, was instrumental in eliminating the PTI administration through a successful motion of no confidence. In a by-election, Musa Gilani won thanks to their arduous campaign, as he noted.
“I am grateful to all of you, you have always supported us when we marched against the government,” he told the workers.
The former FM emphasized the PPP’s dedication to democratic procedures and said that his party couldn't avoid running in elections since they had a history of doing so despite difficulties and the sacrifices of its martyrs.
The PPP chairman cited Benazir Bhutto's legacy as motivation, reiterating the party's will to carry on the political war.
Mr Zardari further assured that his party would hold a huge public gathering in Multan and return to their supporters for the election campaign.
