In a shocking turn of events, the reported murder case of a student in Islamabad has unfolded as an entirely fabricated incident.
The case, initially registered on September 1, based on a complaint filed by the student’s brother at Bani Gala police station, has been revealed as entirely false, as disclosed in an investigation report by SSP Rukhsar Mehndi.
Contrary to the alleged abduction and killing, the investigation determined that the student, Tahmina, was neither abducted nor found in Islamabad on the reported date. Instead, she was traced to the Agricultural University in Toba Tek Singh, her presence confirmed in her native village.
Following the revelations, an inquiry was initiated under the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IG), prompted by the accused's mother's request. This inquiry led to the dismissal of the case by the court and instructions for actions against those responsible for concocting the false narrative.
The investigation uncovered that the fabricated accusations were instigated by the influence of a CDA officer named Iftikhar Hydari. SSP Rukhsar Mehndi submitted the inquiry report to the IG, shedding light on the deceitful nature of the alleged crime.
This revelation has sparked outrage and raised concerns regarding the misuse of influence and the integrity of legal processes, prompting authorities to take stringent actions against those involved in the concoction of the false case.
