TTP attacks against Pakistan

Asia Pacific Forum reported from 2015 to 2020, thanks to the operations of the Pakistan Army, the attacks on the TTP have continuously decreased.
It further reported since 2020, TTP attacks have been gradually increasing and TTP carried out 49 attacks in Pakistan in 2020, 198 in 2021, and 237 in 2022 in which 389 Pakistanis were martyred in 317 attacks of TTP last year.
American weapons left in Afghanistan were also used in the recent terrorist incidents in Pakistan.

The recent report of the United Nations has also revealed the increasing instability in the region under the Afghan Taliban.
The UN report said: “The promises made by the Taliban to break the terrorist groups and not become a security threat to other countries have not been fulfilled in the Doha agreement.”
The UN report said: “After the Afghan Taliban took power, the security situation in the region has become very complicated and uncertain.”
According to the US Representative for Peace Program: “TTP is active in Afghanistan to train terrorists and raise funds for them.”
