The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has obtained approval for an early hearing against the interim bail of the ex-chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.
The hearing, held at Adiala Jail, faced an unexpected delay due to the absence of Sardar Latif Khosa, the lawyer representing the accused.
At the outset of the hearing, presided over by Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer, NAB officials, including Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi and Prosecutor Umar Khan, were present. However, the absence of Latif Khosa, the lawyer representing the former PTI chairman, delayed the proceedings.
The PTI ex-chairman, also in attendance, informed the court about the unavailability of his lawyer, Latif Khosa, emphasizing that Khosa would present arguments on the application.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing to December 11, awaiting the presence of the accused's lawyer for further proceedings.
