Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Wednesday underscored the imperative for conducting fair, transparent, and impartial elections.
Addressing the corner meeting in Mastung, Haideri voiced apprehensions about a potential recurrence of the tumultuous events of 2018 in the upcoming elections.
During the meeting, Haideri communicated reservations to the Election Commissioner, emphasising the critical need to address concerns to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
He emphasised that elections transcend mere political manoeuvres; rather, they constitute a matter of profound national significance.
Haideri reiterated his party's resolve to thwart the attempts to manipulate the election outcomes.

He underscored the pivotal role of a government elected through democratic means in either fortifying or undermining the nation.
The JUI-F stalwart highlighted the multifaceted challenges confronting the country, extending beyond political and economic stability to include a worsening law-and-order situation.
Expressing concern that a repetition of past election conditions could plunge the country into chaos and vulnerability, he urged for "vigilant attention".
Haideri maintained: "Every citizen in the country possesses the fundamental right to democratically voice their concerns and fight for their rights".
