Flight schedules have been affected at Islamabad International Airport amid dense fog on Tuesday.
According to the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) spokesperson, PK-182 coming from Sharjah was diverted towards Peshawar, flight PK-134 from Dubai landed at Lahore instead of Islamabad, PK-179 and PK-181 could not depart for Dubai and Sharjah while flight PK-325 from Islamabad to Quetta was also delayed.
The spokesperson further added flights to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi are also delayed due to fog.
The schedule of flights will be restored after the fog condition improves, the airport officials said.
Airport management advised passengers to confirm flight arrivals, departures, authorities from the helpline before arrival at the airport.
