Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said on Wednesday that even the UC chairman could deliver better than the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.
Addressing the workers' convention in Narowal, the former planning minister said, "Four out of the five years had been wasted by the PTI. Few persons were involved in orchestrating the conspiracy to impose the PTI founder in 2018."
"The PTI founder had harmed the country," Iqbal said.
Speaking about the forthcoming elections, Iqbal said, "I have three basic principles of staging the politics, which are peace, education, and development."

Iqbal said on Friday there is a dire need to decide about the country’s fate on February 8.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, the former planning minister took a swipe at the political opponents, saying, “Some people had harmed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.”
He recalled the events that transpired on May 9, stating, "Those who were involved in May 9 vandalism cannot wash their strains by making excuses.”
Iqbal maintained: “I heard that people based in Karachi are mulling to contest elections from Lahore. The city [Karachi], which was glittering was harmed.”
Recounting the contributions made by his party, Iqbal said: “We had invested in the fields of science and technology during our last tenure of five years.
