Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Saturday that no political party will clinch a two-thirds majority in the forthcoming elections.
Expressing his thoughts in Lahore at ThinkFest, Abbasi said: “The questions over the creditability of the upcoming elections have already been raised. The problems will be further increased with the controversial elections.’’
– Nobody wants to follow constitution –
Former finance minister Miftah Ismail said on Saturday that nobody wants to follow the constitution.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Ismail said, “No solution has been made to run the country. It is a challenge to follow the constitution.’’
He rued, “The provinces are not showing any confidence in each other.”
