Former defence minister Khawaja Asif said on Sunday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif will become the country’s next premier.
Expressing his thoughts in Sialkot, Asif took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, “Sialkot had witnessed no development during the tenure of the PTI.”
He maintained, “The country was witnessing development under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif when he was ousted at the request of a few people.”
“Such a person was imposed on the country who had destroyed the ethical values of the youth,” Asif said.
