Former leader of PTI and former governor of Sindh Imran Ismail clarified that in his meeting with Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Adiala Jail but never insisted he should leave PTI and revealed meeting was held on Qureshi’s insistence.
Imran Ismail claimed Shah Mahmood Qureshi wanted to create his group and insisted the visiting delegation be a part of it but he ‘rejected’ the offer.
Earlier, during Shah Mahmood Qureshi's interaction with the media, he said that because the bat symbol was taken away from PTI this election had taken its demise.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the electoral symbol ‘bat’ has been snatched burying elections.
“Islamabad: If I had become a turncoat then I would be blue blue-eyed person,” he claimed.
PTI senior vice chairman said arranged and engineered elections will not be accepted.
“My brother-in-law passed away three days ago and I was not allowed to attend his funeral prayers,” claimed Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
He demanded live streaming of the cipher case as the cipher's case is of a global nature.
“It is alleged that we have spoiled relations with other countries. I request that the trial of the cipher case be shown live. Let everyone know who is loyal to the country and who is disloyal,” Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
“Founder PTI is only demanding transparent elections,” Shah Mehmood Qureshi said.
