Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday the need to embrace national unity and focus on national priorities and the new charter.
During his interaction with senior journalists in Lahore, Aleem Khan said: "There is a dire need for having a "red line" at an individual and societal level.".
Underscoring the importance of responsible media, the IPP president said, "The limits of the media should be decided. The foreign media has a code of ethics in place."
Christian community vows to extend full support to Aleem Khan –
The Christian community on Wednesday vowed to extend its full support to IPP President Aleem Khan from NA-117 and PP-149 in the forthcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
A delegation of the Christian community headed by Priest Father Rizwan called on Aleem Khan in Lahore. On this occasion, Aleem Khan said, “It is up to everybody to protect the country’s integrity". The IPP president vowed to represent all segments of society.
He commended the efforts of the Christian community in a bid to uplift the country. “The Christian community has a track record of serving in education, health, defence, and other key sectors,” Aleem Khan said.
Expressing his gratitude to the Christian community for extending support in the elections, Aleem Khan said, “I am thankful to the Christian community for announcing support for me.”
"Everybody is aware of my 22-year political career. I have always prioritised serving the people. Every citizen is equal and will pave the way for the country’s bright future,” Aleem Khan maintained.
