Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari stressed the need for handling the economic crisis on Saturday.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, the former foreign minister said, ‘’We have a 10-point agenda for the elections. We will address the challenges in line with ballooning inflation, poverty, climate change, and unemployment through the party’s manifesto''.
‘’I could have said to make me premier without presenting the manifesto. If we will consider ending the elites’ subsidy, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will not stop us,’’ he added.

Pointing out the significance of a robust economy, Bhutto-Zardari said: ‘’The economy can be strengthened by supporting the people in general.’’
‘’In 2015, 17 of the miniseries should have ended, but they did not,’’ he added.
We did not want a government that would come to power only to end its own cases. There is a need for a responsible government that can address the country’s problems. If I form government by forming an alliance, my priority will be to serve the masses.
He regretted that the country was facing challenges from terrorism.
Bhutto-Zardari expressed optimism that his party will spring its surprise on February 8.
