The interim government on Tuesday continued to tighten the noose around hoarders and smugglers.
From January 7 to January 14, 293.07 metric tonnes of urea, 0.36 metric tonnes of flour, and 27.76 metric tonnes of sugar were recovered during 45 operations initiated by governmental institutions.
As of January, 240 operations had been successful, according to which there were 17890.22 metric tonnes of urea, 2402.28 metric tonnes of flour, and 7363.63 metric tonnes of sugar.
The interim government, military institutions, and other concerned institutions resolved to end the menace of smuggling in the country.
