Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday lavished his praise on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing the workers’ convention in NA-76 in Narowal, the former planning minister recounted the contributions made during the tenure of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. ‘’Nawaz Sharif had ended the menace of terrorism’’.
He urged the masses to vote for Nawaz Sharif in a bid to uplift the country.
Iqbal also credited Nawaz Sharif for ending the power outages in the country.
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, Iqbal said, ‘’What happened on May 9 was against the mindset of Pakistani society’’.

Few days back, Iqbal said that education was key to ending poverty.
Addressing the corner meeting in Narowal, the former planning minister said, ‘’We had established the best cancer centre in Narowal.’’
‘’Over 7,000 students are getting education to change their fate in three universities established in Narowal,’’ he said.
Iqbal maintained: ‘’The Narowal District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital ranks number one in Punjab’’.
