Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq on Wednesday rued the skyrocketing inflation.
Addressing the public gathering in Dir, Haq said, ‘’The masses should vote on February 8, considering the future of the children.’’
He took a swipe at the political opponents, saying, ‘’Those who had chanted the slogans of Asian Tigers, Tabdeeli, had failed to deliver.’’

– Sirajul Haq sees JI ‘ray of hope’ for country –
Haq said on Tuesday that his party was the ‘’only ray of hope’’ in a bid to uplift the country.
Expressing his thoughts, Haq said, ‘’There is not written in the fate of the youth to move abroad after getting an education.’’ He bemoaned the prevailing use of ‘’foul’’ language in politics.
He was of the view that the country was facing severe hardships, saying, ‘’The polarisation in the country has increased.’’
