Istehkam-e-Pakistan party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday met with another candidate Chaudhry Wahid Khan, who withdrew in his favor and expressed full confidence in Aleem Khan’s leadership.
IPP president expressed his gratitude to Chaudhry Wahid and his colleagues, who announced to full support with Aleem Khan. Another, former Nazim from Shahdara, Afzal Bhola called on the IPP leader and announced full support. On the occasion, participants presented a model of ‘eagles’—an electoral symbol of IPP—traditional turbans and shawls to Khan.
He vowed to serve NA-117 voters after winning the elections. “I will fulfill the expectations of the people of the constituency,” IPP president Aleem Khan.

During the speech, Aleem Khan referred to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder chairman Imran Khan's first goal was to put him into jail, because they wanted to make ‘Wasim Akram Plus’ the then chief minister of Punjab.
