Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Iftikhar Yousaf on Friday decided to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
The development came after Yousaf called on IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan in Lahore.
On this occasion, Aleem Khan made it clear that his party would take everybody on board.
– IPP constitutes legal wing –
Few days back, the IPP on Wednesday constituted the lawyers’ wing.
The members of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Islamabad High Court Bar Association joined the IPP.
IPP Islamabad president Chaudhry Abdul Rauf had welcomed the lawyers by presenting them with party mufflers.
Abdul Wahid Qureshi had been appointed as the IPP lawyers’ wing president, and Iftikhar Bashir had been named as the IPP lawyers’ wing senior vice president.
