Empowering Farmers and Environment: The manifesto pledges substantial support to small farmers, offering interest-free loans and leveraging modern technology to combat crop damage. Additionally, it commits to transforming all government offices into eco-friendly hubs.
Strengthening Democracy and Justice: Upholding the supremacy of Parliament is a key focus, with plans to restore Articles 62 and 63 to their original form. To foster grassroots dispute resolution, the manifesto proposes introducing a Panchayat System. A comprehensive overhaul of the judicial system is promised, encompassing timely and efficient processes, streamlined timelines (one year for major cases, two months for minor ones), and enhanced access to justice through live-streamed court proceedings.
Fighting Corruption and Inefficiency: The manifesto boldly announces the abolishment of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), aiming to strengthen existing anti-corruption institutions and implement procedural law reforms. Effective and fair prosecution, along with dedicated commercial courts and improved overseas Pakistani courts, are envisioned. Furthermore, a digital judiciary system is planned to enhance transparency and efficiency.
Economic Stability and Job Creation: Bringing down inflation is a central pillar, with targets of 10% reduction by 2025 and 4-6% within the next four years. The manifesto promises over 10 million jobs in five years and aims to maintain a low Current Account Deficit (around 1.5% of GDP) for the next five years. Boosting exports to exceed $58 billion by 2029 is another ambitious economic goal.
The PML-N's manifesto presents a wide-ranging vision for Pakistan, addressing crucial issues like agriculture, environment, democracy, justice, corruption, economy, and employment. Whether these ambitious promises can be translated into reality remains to be seen, but the "Pakistan ko Nawaz Do" manifesto undoubtedly provides a clear roadmap for the party's aspirations and priorities if elected.
