Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday that the responsibility lies with his party to apprise the masses of the country’s political situation.
Addressing the public gathering in Sukkur, Rehman said: ‘’The path we [JUI-F] are following is based on Islamic principles.’’
He expressed his views in line with the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8. ‘’Hopefully, the entire country, especially the people of Sindh, will fulfil their responsibility’’.
‘’Conveying our message and taking the masses on board are our responsibilities. Therefore, the people of the country should also fulfil their responsibility.’’

– Country needs system based on Quran, Sunnah: Fazlur Rehman –
Few days back, Rehman said that the country needs a system based on the Quran and Sunnah.
Addressing the public gathering in Muzaffargarh, the JUI-F chief said, ‘’Sadly, we are not practicing our religious traditions. We are dragging backward.’’
‘’Now everyone is making promises. Such politicians do not even know what politics is all about,’’ he said.
Stressing the need for a robust economy, Rehman says, ‘’The country’s economy can only be fostered with the existence of peace in the country.’’
