In a swift and resounding response, the Palace has categorically dismissed recent claims suggesting that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was placed in a medically induced coma during her recent health scare.
The assertions, made by Spanish journalist Concha Calleja, were labeled as "totally made-up" by a palace insider who spoke exclusively to The Times in London.
The palace source, who insisted on the unsubstantiated nature of the allegations, stated firmly, "It's total nonsense. It's fundamentally, totally made-up, and I'll use polite English here: it's absolutely not the case."
The insider also highlighted that no attempt was made by the journalist to fact-check the information with any official sources within the royal household.
Calleja claimed to have obtained the information from an "aide from the royal household in a completely off-the-record manner." However, the palace has refuted this, emphasizing the lack of verification and reliability in the journalist's account.
The royal source expressed disappointment, stating, "No attempt was made by that journalist to fact-check anything that she said with anyone in the household."
Kate Middleton, who recently underwent abdominal surgery, was discharged from the London Clinic in Marylebone after a 14-day stay. The palace's decision not to disclose specific details regarding the surgery has fueled speculation and various theories surrounding the Duchess's health.
Despite the swirling rumors, Kate is currently recuperating at her home in Windsor, surrounded by her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The family is focused on providing support to the Duchess during her recovery.
