Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday vowed to protect the country from vandalism if his party voted into power.
Addressing the election rally in Lahore, Rafique admitted the country was facing inflation, saying, "Today, in every nook and cranny, inflation is prevailing."
"We [PML-N] are not making tall claims, but we will bring foreign investment to the country if voted into power," he said.

He bemoaned, "The people of the country are longing for roti."
Rafique also urged the minorities to cast votes for his party in the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.
"We will elevate the status of the Christian community and other segments of society if voted into power," Rafique said.
– PML-N does not believe in political vendetta: Saad Rafique –
Few days back, Rafique said that his party does not believe in the political vendetta.
Addressing the workers' convention in Lahore, Rafique said: "Today, the country does not need leadership that embraces hatred. The vision of the PML-N is to bring stability and prosperity to the country."
"We [PML-N] have a history of ending the menace of terrorism and providing employment opportunities. Our manifesto revolves around developing the country," Rafique said.
"The opponents are asking about the PML-N's narrative," he said.
Taking an indirect jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Rafique said: "You [PTI founder] had tried to drag the country into the civil war. We do not want such a leadership that incites the children to stand against the state institutions."
