Pakistan Weather Office Chief meteorologist citing reports predicted that weather will remain cold and dry in most of the country on February 8—Elections Day—with a mercury could go low up to 13 to 14 degree Celsius.
As per the latest reports by the meteorological department, the weather will remain cold and dry in various parts of the country while it remains very cold in the upper parts of the region on February 8.
The chief meteorologist Sarfaraz Khan said that weather in most parts of the country will remain cold and dry, the weather will reach 25 to 26 degrees and the minimum get low between 13 to 14 degrees Celsius.
However, it will remain partly cloudy in Gilgit-Baltistan. There is a possibility of cold winds in the Potohar region during the evening and night.
As per the weather office, light fog is likely to occur in fewer places in North-East Punjab in the morning hours. Today the minimum temperature was in Leh -16 degrees Celsius -13 in Kalam, -8 in Astor minus 5in Malam Jabba, and minus 5 in Rawalakot.
