The US State Department said on Thursday that it is too early to say anything about the Pakistan general elections before the announcement of the official election results.
"In the elections, millions of Pakistanis polled. Our interest lies in Pakistan's democratic process," the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson stated, "We condemn the incidents of violence that transpired during the elections."
"We have reservations about freedom of speech. During the polling day, internet outages and masses not getting cellular access are concerning," the US State Department maintained.
