The political parties were looking to complete required number games following the general elections as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday contacted the Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had held a telephonic conversation with JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
During the conversation, matters pertaining to the recently held polls were discussed.
Shehbaz Sharif and Rehman resolved to continue contact with each other.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had discussed the political landscape of the centre and Punjab.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif. Zardari was also flanked by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari during the 45-minute-long meeting with the former prime minister at the residence of interim Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore.
Shehbaz Sharif had also conveyed an important message from PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to Asif Ali Zardari.
