Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said on Saturday that his party does not even try to contact Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Expressing his thoughts, the former foreign minister said, "I have no knowledge about any contact between the PPP and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan."
"The coalition government will definitely based on political give-and-take. I will try to convince the allies to abolish the 17 ministries," he said.
Speaking about the implementation of the PPP's manifesto, Bhutto-Zardari said: "I do not have a clear mandate for the implementation of the party's own manifesto."
He emphasised the need for negotiation, saying, "We will always keep the doors open for the political parties to negotiate. However, as of now, we have not started the negotiations.".
Bhutto-Zardari said, "The PPP will take the decision in the CEC meeting after seeing the situation.".
"Without the PPP's voting, there will be no chance of forming the government in Punjab, the centre, and Balochistan," he said.
Bhutto-Zardari said, "It will also be the key thing to note which of the independent candidates wants to stand with the PTI. We will also have to see which of the candidates are genuinely independent."
Giving his take on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif's speech yesterday, Bhutto-Zardari stated: "Nawaz Sharif had delivered the speech quite earlier."
"In line with the reservations, the platforms are available. We have received complaints regarding the elections in Karachi. The PPP is still waiting for the poll results," he maintained.
